After Christmas in Vermont I drove to Schenectady to stay with Jack and his family for a few days. Here is the sunset on top of a mountain somewhere outside of Rotterdam
and downtown Schenectady:
The shops here were very quaint and the colorful houses reminded somewhat of the residential areas of Washington D.C.Although most of Schenectady is either very industrial, underdeveloped, or poverty-stricken, it really has its nice parts and appears to be on an upswing.
